good picture, weak hinge

I got the viewfinder with my GXR system and found it quite useful in sunny outdoor conditions. I can see everything even with my glasses on, and it helps tremendously to MF my M mount glass.One day I was pulling camera out of my bag and noticed that viewfinder was stuck in 90 degree position, locked. I tried getting it unjammed, but it only made matters worse. So I sent it in for a repair.The folding design is good and clever, but needs stronger hinge that could be locked at folded and extended positions. I also looked through Sony OLED finder and found it worse than Ricoh because of inability to see a full viewfinder with glasses on, plus Sony was kindda dim. As I contemplated NEX-7 I am glad I made choice for Ricoh GXR. Only if the hinge was metal with a lock, it would deserve 4 stars, and 5th star would come for higher resolution.Right now I recommend putting it on and taking it off every time you need to use it, you should not leave viewfinder on the camera due to the weak hinge that can jam.
