UV Filters

BANG FOR BUCK!!!!!

My sister was amazed that the filters I bought were built very very good...titanium and glass...not plastic housing...I was even shocked when they arrived. I did a show and tell to my sister and after her praises she got on Amazon & ordered herself not only the 3pc filter kit but the other 4pc filter kit as well. If you are looking for filters, but not looking to spend too much...buy these...you will not be disappointed.

Does it's job nicely, FLD filter useless.

I needed a protection (mostly mechanical) for my new DSLR front lens. So I decided to buy a UV filter. While browsing amazon, found this pack and decided to give it a try. Here are the impressions:1. Glass quality is fine, but body itself is aluminum alloy, have no idea how previous reviewer identified it as titanium.2. Polariser filter performs surprisingly nice, without shifting color balance to yellow-greens, as my previous, brandname (and expensive!) polariser filter did.3. FLD filter is useless. My DSLR (Sony SLT A-57), in most cases, automatically finds a proper white balance for fluorescent, and even if not able to find automatically, I have manual WB setup choice. With this lens attached, automatic white balance goes crazy, so you have to use manual white balance, to avoid which, this lens is meant to be designed. However, this lens is fine in achieving some dancefloor-like, techno image effects.4. The carrying pouch is much nicer and sturdier, than from similar kit from Polaroid Studios.Overall, I like this kit quite much, and I'd prefer, instead of FLD filter, they should included some different filter, say, soft focus or star filter maybe?
