Great camera

******* Know the Seller******We bought this camera kit from sunset electronics, I called them to find out if it had a USA warranty and was told yes it had a 1year USA warranty, when the camera arrived I tried to register it on the nikon website and found out it would not register it maybe a grey market camera, so I called nikon and was told it was a grey market and it was to be sold in hong kong. This would have been fine if I did not want a warranty, but spending almost $2000.00 I want the warranty, I email sunset electronics as I was upset they lied to me, the offered me an extend warranty via another company, I asked for more information about this company, I checked out the warranty companies web page and no where on there could I find out where I would have to send my camera to, only a phone number to call, no thanks I will just return the package and get my money back, Eric with sunset electronics was no help at all, basically wanted to get me off the phone with a whatever attitude. I will say they did answer my emails and the refund only took a week. I wish I would have researched sunset electronics better before buying from them. I found on the BBB website they have a "F" rating.I also found when I purchased my new camera su set electrons must do some repackaging of there own, one of the lens was in a box with bubble wrap, my new one had a bag for the lens and a lens hood.The extra items are cheap products too.*****Camera*****We did buy another camera and I love everything about it. If your thinking about buying one just go and get it you won't be unhappy.

Nikon D7000 at Sunset Electronic is FAKE camera

I bought this package (Nikon D7000) at Sunset electronics and I found out that I cannot register to Nikon since the camera don't have a serial number. Nikon told me that they are grey market. It's either the camera is not Nikon D7000, refurbished or stolen. Eric of sunset electronics told me that this is brand new. I called him and I said that there's a comment on review that people complaint about them and he is mad at me he said " the reviewer supposed to be removing that comment" but since the customer did not removed the review, Eric removed the whole package and make another package without any rating. So the people buying the camera will not see it. SO BEWARE OF SUNSET ELECTRONIC. Don't waste your money on there package deal, that deal is NOT a good deal because they are giving you all junk.

Good, but maybe a better way

I purchased this product from one of Amazons sub-providers. His explanation was fine, his delivery time adequate, and his interest in keeping the customer satisfied reassuring. The real issue is with the type of product offered. As a "Kit" it has elements that don't seem to fit the camera lens, the attached flash is too cheap to use, and the bag that comes with it would never protect the camera body and lens. I looked at purchasing the individual parts, but choose to buy the "Kit" and if I had to do it over I think I would buy the individual parts and possibly spend just a little (very little) more on the components. Lesson learned.
