UV Filters
A UV filter is used to reduce UV rays from entering the lens and striking the film. Modern lenses often have UV protection built into them as well as digital sensors, however, UV filters are commonly used to help protect the surface of the lens from scratches, smudges, dirt and other hazards.
Circular Polarizing Filters
A polarizer is different than most filters in that it is composed of two pieces of glass, mounted independently inside a round frame so that one can be rotated relative to the other. As it is rotated, it increasingly cuts out glare and haze. With an SLR, you can actually observe this change through the viewfinder. Polarizers reduce glare from water, glass, or any non-metallic surface. You can also use a polarizer filter to darken blue skies.
FLD Filters
A FLD filter (fluorescent light correction) provides the perfect solution for obtaining pleasing skin tones and correct color while shooting without a flash under fluorescent lighting. This filter gives true-to-life color rendition by removing the harsh yellow-green cast ordinarily resulting from fluorescent bulbs. Good quality workmanship and low price; but problems

The seller was prompt in shipping and the quality of the filters is good; threads line up, no defects in the glass or rings. I did not expect anything extraordinary for the price, but polarizing filters are next to useless because they have very little polarizing effect. The magnifying lenses produce considerable peripheral distortion and blurring around objects in central focus, and are probably not usable except for specialty shots. The other filters in the kit are fine. The filters come in 2 neat little synthetic leather cases. For the very low price, the usable filters can justify the purchase.

Use only for protection, nothing else

I bought this for my Nikkor 18-200 VR II lens with being fully aware that I will be surprised to get some good quality for such an price. First of all seller is good and shipped it time. And these filters are good for protecting your lens only. Forget about macro. x4 and x10 wont focus. x1 and x2 are blurry. Other three filters are okay for such low price (I will consider it a waste if you are not using it only for protection). The glass are loose, screw on these filters are not good enough to hold the glass tightly. I gave two star because of shipping in time. But the title is misleading. Why it said that all will work with 18-200 mm when 2 macro lens does not work (focus)? I would buy UV filter only as a protection and don't bother about the rest.

I have used these filters with my Canon and they are awesome. Really like them and enjoy them. They are really clean and can be used in many different types of shots. I recommend them.
