The Hoya Pro 1 Digital Circular Polarizer takes advantage of Hoya's patented optical glass technology to create a hardened glass that is thinner than the normal optical glass. This allows the overall thickness of the filter to be reduced to avoid vignetting when used with ultra-wide angle lenses. FEATURESDigital Multi-Coated Digital multi-coated filters greatly reduce the appearance of lens flare and ghosting caused by reflections. Black Almite Frame Filters feature a black matte aluminum satin finish Almite frame which reduces reflections. Black Rimmed Glass These filters are equipped with black rimmed glass to reduce the chance of light reflecting off the edge. Good filter

It's a good filter. The raised ridge for the threads makes it easy to removed for cleaning. I have a polarizer on my Fuji without the ridge and I can't remove it!It may be expensive, but the quality is well worth the price.

52mm Circular Polarizing Multi-Coated Glass Pro 1 Digital Filter is a very good Circular Polarizer to start with. I'm using it very effectively with my Nikon 35mm f/1.8 and other 52mm threads.
